Andrea Buginsky – One to Watch

Have you heard of the New Avalon Series?

No!

I’m shocked, let me find the book cover of Destiny and a blurb. Destiny is book 1 in the series.

Destiny book 1 blurb:

DestinyConstantly teased and taunted by the popular girls, Elena Baxter desperately wants to fit in. On her sweet sixteenth, she receives two shocking gifts: telekinesis and the surprising truth about her heritage. With high hopes that things will be different now, Elena returns to school to find that nothing has changed. Only this time her hurt feelings and frustration boil into something even she cannot understand.

When her powers explode, chaos ensues and she learns that her new ability is greater than she ever desired. As she learns to control her powers, Elena discovers there’s so much more to her heritage than she ever imagined.

Here’s what a few readers had to say about the book:

“I loved the message that you have to accept yourself as well and not just rely on validation from others.”     Aprila

“The plot is paced quite well as we follow this part of Elena’s life.”     Jennifer

About annamaria

Although born in the United States, Annamaria Bazzi spent a great deal of her childhood in Sicily, Italy, in a town called Sciacca. Italian was the language spoken at home. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computers with a minor in Spanish. Annamaria spent twenty years programming systems for large corporations, creating innovative solution, and addressing customer problems. During those years, she raised four daughters and one husband. Annamaria lives in Richmond Virginia with her small family where she now dedicates a good part of her day writing.
