annamaria’s Update

It’s late in the day.

I’ve been unusually busy.

In case you don’t know I watch children during the day, I’ve got my own little home daycare and I’m getting ready to accept two more children. They are brother and sister and have arrived from Italy about a month ago. Noah is three and speaks Italian while Zoe is 20 months and just starting to form her words.

I’m excited to see how Audry, our little one year old, will react to Zoe who is older. I also can’t wait to see what Austin and Noah will think of each other. Pretty exciting for me, but I know my writing suffers because I don’t have as much time as before to dedicate to it. I know I’ll turn into the night writer the way I used to be when working. I remember getting up at 1:00 in the morning with an idea and dashing downstairs to the computer to write. Let me tell you, the next morning I would have such a hard time getting up.

Today the Incantation Paradox stopped at author Patricia Zick’s Writing Whims. She interviewed me. Please stop by and see how I answered her questions, that is if you’re curious.

Now, I need to go back to the edits my editor sent back for White Swans.

About annamaria

Although born in the United States, Annamaria Bazzi spent a great deal of her childhood in Sicily, Italy, in a town called Sciacca. Italian was the language spoken at home. Therefore, she had no problems when she found herself growing up in a strange country. Upon returning to the states, she promised herself she would speak without an accent. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computers with a minor in Spanish. Annamaria spent twenty years programming systems for large corporations, creating innovative solution, and addressing customer problems. During those years, she raised four daughters and one husband. Annamaria lives in Richmond Virginia with her small family where she now dedicates a good part of her day writing.
