Since my father was the American ambassador to Italy, I grew up in Rome. While there I enjoyed reading Fantastic Four comic books, because a female, the invisible woman, is part of the foursome. Strong, intelligent, yet beautiful, Sue was a great inspiration for wanting to be self-sufficient and in charge of my life. I think you can see those qualities when I end up in Regency.
I think it’s very important for little girls to have such characters in their lives to inspire them to success against the male dominated world we still live in. It’s just too bad that both DC and Marvel didn’t think outside the box sooner.
Fighting evil is noble, even little girls should have those dreams of ridding the world of liars and cheaters. I know I’m doing my best on Regency.
