I Caught the Godwin Plague

Yes, folks, I caught the Godwin Plague. My daughter Ariana infested the house when she came home sick with it. Now, everyone living under my roof has fallen ill.

Oh, please don’t panic, it’s only the flu, but because so many are catching it, and too many are sick at home, the kids are calling it the ‘plague’. As a good mom I nursed Ariana, although she’s still sick, so I got it. Alessa caught it before I did, not sure how because she stayed away from her sister. This evening, my husband came home from work with it.

I hope this is not an indication of how this winter is going to unfold. If it is, I need to crawl into a hole right now because the world is going to be chaotic and unpleasant. I might not even make it to Christmas. And that would really be dreadful.

Getting ready to make my home remedy, black tea with lemon, honey and whisky. Sweet dreams.
