Can you imagine falling asleep for the night and waking the next morning in a strange world where magic is real?

It happened to me and if you want to know more about how I felt go here and read the first chapter of my story. Just thinking about it give me goose bumps.

I had a good life as the daughter of the American Ambassador to Italy. Yes, of course, I was born in London, England, because my father was working at the American Embassy in London. I don’t remember too much about England. Most of my life I lived outside of Rome, Italy.

Life here in Regency is ancient and people are so stuffy it stinks. Since there’s nothing I can do about leaving, my most important goal is to modernize my new world.

There’s always set backs. If Harry didn’t exist, I’d have no problems. Regency would have no problems. Life would be wonderful and advancing just fine, thank you.

I will prevail, at least, hopefully, good will prevail.

About annamaria

Although born in the United States, Annamaria Bazzi spent a great deal of her childhood in Sicily, Italy, in a town called Sciacca. Italian was the language spoken at home. Therefore, she had no problems when she found herself growing up in a strange country. Upon returning to the states, she promised herself she would speak without an accent. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computers with a minor in Spanish. Annamaria spent twenty years programming systems for large corporations, creating innovative solution, and addressing customer problems. During those years, she raised four daughters and one husband. Annamaria lives in Richmond Virginia with her small family where she now dedicates a good part of her day writing.
