Introducing Hayley, YA Reviewer

Hi, my name is Hayley Guertin, and I love reading because it brings me into a world that’s different from my own. YA fiction is perfect because it fits with my age group, and it makes me Hayley's logofeel like I’m right there in the story.

I prefer to read Fantasy because it’s a genre that presents things and events that don’t happen in real life, which makes them exciting and intriguing.

Now, I don’t read all day. I am also currently writing a novel. Though the details are a secret, I’m hoping to have it written next year. I also enjoy taking my new puppy for walks, and hanging around with my family.

Being 14 is great, especially because I don’t usually have anything better to do other than read and write. I love giving my ideas on books, which is why I started my blog!

About annamaria

Although born in the United States, Annamaria Bazzi spent a great deal of her childhood in Sicily, Italy, in a town called Sciacca. Italian was the language spoken at home. Therefore, she had no problems when she found herself growing up in a strange country. Upon returning to the states, she promised herself she would speak without an accent. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computers with a minor in Spanish. Annamaria spent twenty years programming systems for large corporations, creating innovative solution, and addressing customer problems. During those years, she raised four daughters and one husband. Annamaria lives in Richmond Virginia with her small family where she now dedicates a good part of her day writing.

Hi, Hayley. It’s great that you are doing so much at the age of 14. You’re getting off to a faster start than most of us. Keep it up!
